So…today is my birthday. I’m feeling rather old (52). If I live an “average” amount of years, I only have about twenty years left…not very long.
“Live a good life…in the end, it’s not the years in a life, it’s the life in the years.”
Thinking and writing about life, death, and all that is between.

Happy Birthday Gayla!!! I hope you have a wonderful day. I'm taking your advice also; try to live a good life and make the best of each day!!!
Love ya,
Diane Dotson
Hey, Gayla. We left Nacogdoches on the last day of November in 1993. I was 73 at the time. That was 15 years ago, more or less. Now I am 88. If I can do it, you can do it. Fuel yourself with LOVE, LOVE, LOVE and you will make it. NOW look at the years have left! And probably you will live to be at least 90. I plan to.
Happy Birthday Gayla!
I'm with Don! I will be 77 next month and I'm making plans to go on a camping trip with a group in Nov.
But. .regardless of our age, you are right that we all need to be more mindful of the days that we have and join your prayer of, "Lord, help me live a good life." Be it days, months or years!
